In the process of exchanging letters, the caretaker dies and the girls return as women. They carry the caretaker's body to the gravesite and bury her underneath the Cherry Blossom Tree. Afterwards, They take turns carving the caretaker's name in the Cherry Blossom Tree. This book really connects to our youth and what's going on in today's society.
