April 14, 2005 -- Less than 500 miles from the United States is the country of Haiti, an island nation of over 7 million people, where almost 75% of the populations are children without parents. Haiti is universally acknowledged to be the poorest nation in the western hemisphere. For decades, Haiti has been plagued with poverty, corruption, decaying infrastructure, dictatorships, military coups de etat and foreign military intervention. The possibilities of life have become the probabilities of death for many Haitian children. Little bodies are scattered throughout the country - orphaned or born weak while their mothers often die needlessly in childbirth. The evidence is staggering and defies words... Hundreds of tiny corpses, stacked like cord wood, can be found in morgues throughout the country and there is no one to claim the bodies of these innocent human beings.

Heather and Larry Storey along with their two young children have set out on a journey to adopt 4 babies from Haiti through an adoption agency called Forhisglory. For His Glory is an Adoption Outreach ministry dedicated to placing orphaned children in Christian homes. “They are a beautiful people and a wonderful organization,” explains Mrs. Storey. “With out going into the details of there ministries, this organization through the hand of the Lord, saves lives.” added Mrs. Storey. Mrs. Storey is a 36 year old mother of two and wife to Larry Storey, 46 who was paralyzed on the left side of his body from a motorcycle accident 19 years ago. Mrs. Storey, owner of the Company BagButton LLC has set in motion the finical journey to save the lives of four Haiti Orphans, and to adopt them into her family. “There names, are Jameslee, Schneider, Wana and Dewencia. No one knows there exact age, but our best guess is there ages range from one to six years old, and we need to bring them Home,” added Mr. Storey.
Mr. and Mrs. Storey found each other 15 years ago. A short while after there commitment to each other they wanted to start a family. They tried for several years to no avail. During this time they had lost two babies due to complications. With the on set of depression creeping in they needed an alternative to fill the inherent void, giving up on there ability to have children they entertained the idea of adoption. “It was at that moment when we lost all hope the Lord blessed us with Tia, who is 9 now, and Tristen, 4.” said Mrs. Storey. “But it was also that moment in time that left us needing to make a difference.”
It’s been over a year since the Storey family committed to adopt and make a difference in the lives of a few children. Turning to Forhisglory Adoption Outreach for guidance they fell in love with the four Haiti children and began the long financial and emotional process of bringing them home.
The cost to adopt adds up to $8,000.00 per child; this does not include maintenance fee of $100.00 a month per child. The adoption process can take from 8 to 15 months due to the absence of any Haitian government. “Those fees are absolutely ridiculous.” Said Mr. Storey, these children are dieing by the hundreds, a person would think that they could just go over to Haiti and pick the babies up off the ground and bring them home. There government is so corrupt and the children are paying for it with there lives!”
This Family has the desire and ability to Love, nurture and support these children but are struggling with the up front costs to get these babies home. The company BagButton.com was formed in 1996, then received there certificate of formation as BagButton LLC. February 09, 2004 in Washington State. From 1996-2004 they went through the patent processes and several mold changes and entered into the market on March 29th 2004.
