CBA Commercial Names Karl B. Wood Senior Vice President, Western Region

(PRLEAP.COM) Stamford, Conn. – CBA Commercial, LLC has named Karl B. Wood senior vice president for the Western Region.

Wood, based in Long Beach, Calif., will coordinate CBA Commercial’s sales and marketing efforts in Arizona, California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. His responsibilities include developing strategic alliances with mortgage bankers, mortgage brokers and other financial institutions, and recruiting and training CBA Commercial account managers.

Wood, 44, is a 20-year mortgage industry veteran. Before joining CBA Commercial he was senior vice president at Aurora Loan Services, Littleton, Colo., a division of Lehman Brothers, where he was responsible for loan production in the western half of the United States. Wood also has served in senior management and sales positions at Downey Savings and Loan, Newport Beach, Calif.; Master Financial, Orange, Calif.; and Keros-Mozilo Mortgage Bankers, Huntington Beach, Calif.

Wood attended Cal State University, Long Beach and worked as an engineer for Douglas Aircraft before entering the mortgage business.
