California Academy Foundation Launches Dream Home Raffle; Proceeds to Benefit Public Education

(PRWEB) April 24, 2006 -– The California Academy Foundation, a California non-profit organization, today launched its “Santa Barbara Dream Home Raffle” that will give away more than $1.2 Million in cash and prizes to lucky winners in three separate drawings. Raffle tickets are $150 each, and are available for purchase by calling 1-800-615-0655 Monday through Friday, 9 am to 9 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm. Tickets may also be purchased via fax or postal mail by filling out an entry form available at www.santabarbarahomeraffle.org.

 “  Early Bird Drawings
With a grand prize drawing on July 30, and two “Early Bird Drawings” on June 10 and July 15, entrants purchasing tickets by May 26 will have a chance at winning a million dollar home in Santa Barbara, a new Ford Mustang GT, a new Mini-Cooper and other exciting cash prizes. The California Academy Foundation provides support and funding for innovative “California Partnership Academy” programs in California public high-schools. Proceeds from the raffle will be used to support the Multimedia Arts & Design Academy at Santa Barbara High School, the Foundation’s first initiative, and will also fund additional technology purchases for Santa Barbara High School.

“Purchasing a raffle ticket is a winning proposition – not only could you walk away a winner, but public education wins too,” said Michael Jaffe, executive vice president at the California Academy Foundation.
