(PRWEB) April 1, 2007 -- California businesses are searching for ways to comply with a recent government mandate that states business must reduce energy consumption by 20% by the year 2015. Sacramento based Halls Window Center will now offer no-cost consultations to businesses about energy conservation solutions through green-friendly replacement windows.

Halls Window Center is a leading supplier of the Energy Star rated Renewal by Andersen windows and doors, a line of products renowned among environmental advocates for its effectiveness in conserving energy. According to the Department of Energy, Energy Star qualified windows like the Renewal by Andersen are as much as 40% more energy efficient than windows required by most building codes throughout the nation.

We have always been fanatical about quality and energy efficiency which is why we choose to represent Renewal by Andersen products. After attending the 'Green California Expo' we are even more proud of our product's ability to make a significant impact on the state of California's energy conservation goals "We have always been fanatical about quality and energy efficiency which is why we choose to represent Renewal by Andersen products. After attending the 'Green California Expo' we are even more proud of our product's ability to make a significant impact on the state of California's energy conservation goals," says Bob Grandinetti, owner of Halls Window Center.

The Green California Summit and Exposition Grandinetti references, held on March 13th and 14th at the Sacramento Convention Center, was created by senior state officials to support state and government efforts to implement green services, products and solutions. Other expo participants included the California Air Resources Board, Sun Power, WholEarth Builder, Solar City, and more than 100 other companies offering energy efficiency solutions.

Renewal by Andersen was the first replacement window to display the National Fenestration Rating Council label, a requirement of Energy-Star products. Features that make the products so effective in reducing energy usage are its use of Fibrex® material and Low-E4 glass which results in an average of 41% more energy efficiency in the summer and 35% more efficiency in the winter. Another reason for the high level of efficiency of these replacement windows is the unique system of dual panes of glass, between which an argon gas blend acts as a thermal buffer.

Renewal by Andersen windows qualify as a purchase under California's Environmental Preference Purchasing program, a program that requires buyers to purchase products using recycled materials. Renewal by Andersen's Fibrex® material is made from reclaimed wood and vinyl, a blend of materials with strong insulation qualities and that is impermeable to rot, mildew, and warping.

In response to the government mandate to reduce energy efficiency, Halls has launched a promotion offering one free Energy Star Renewal by Andersen window with the purchase of 8 or more windows. To assist companies with financing, Halls is also offering an option of no interest and no payments until January of 2008 in addition to its other financing options.
