Le Cache Launches European Country Wine Cellars

(PRWEB) August 4, 2006 -- Le Cache, a leading manufacturer of wine storage cabinets, is giving wine lovers even more to celebrate. With the introduction of its new European Country wine cellars, Le Cache now offers three distinctive lines of wine storage furniture that include innovative features, all-inclusive pricing and immediate delivery.

The new line of wine storage cabinets from Le Cache was inspired by the grace and proportions of European Country furniture. Each wine cabinet features hand-stained cherry wood, hardwood French doors, crown and base molding with hand-carved wood trim, double-pane tinted glass, all-wood universal racking and an advanced digital cooling system. Such upgrades typically add hundreds to thousands of dollars to the final cost of a wine cabinet, but Le Cache incorporates these features and offers its wine cabinets with all-inclusive pricing -- at significant savings to other manufacturers’ products. Le Cache also promises to ship each wine cabinet within three to five days of purchase, compared to the industry average of six to eight weeks.

Customer feedback played a significant role in the design of Le Cache’s wine storage cabinets. For example, Le Cache extended the use of its SB/0™ Technology to allow its wine cellars to be placed flush against the wall in response to complaints that existing wine cabinets, which require up to six inches of clearance between the wine cabinet and the wall, are too intrusive. Le Cache also designed its all-wood wine racking to accommodate not only standard Bordeaux bottles, but also increasingly popular larger bottle sizes, such as Burgundy, Pinot and many Champagne bottles.

Le Cache wine cabinets are designed to create and maintain optimal wine storage conditions in residential and commercial environments. The following five conditions are critically important for proper wine storage and aging:

- Cool constant temperature in the range of 55–60 degrees Fahrenheit is ideal for the biochemical development that occurs as wine matures
- Humidity in the range of 50–70 percent is required to keep corks from drying out without damaging bottle labels and allowing mold to grow
- Protection from UV rays which can penetrate bottles and cause tannins to oxidize
- Clean, odor-free air because wine can “breathe” through their corks
- Minimal vibration which can disrupt the aging process

The new line of European Country wine storage cabinets features five sizes to accommodate wine collections ranging from 172 to 622 bottles, and comes in a choice of three hand-stained finishes designed to highlight the beautiful grain of natural cherry wood.

The entire collection of wine cabinets and wine accessories from Le Cache can be seen at www.le-cache.com. The website also offers a wine cabinet buying guide, wine cabinet comparisons and more information about the proper storage and aging of fine wine.
