New Community Web Site Serves More than Just the Community

July 26, 2005 -- Hoping to be of interest beyond just one community, one Seminole County resident has launched a new Internet Web site that celebrates the community in which he resides. Donald A. Thomas, Jr. today unveiled HG-OL.com featuring home and garden oriented reading and images reflecting Central Florida life.

"It seems to me that as we buy and reside in our Central Florida homes," states Thomas, "we reinvent the same wheel over and over again. I hope that HG-OL.com succeeds to celebrate the fact that we live in Central Florida and also help share home-related experiences that might help others following a similar path."

HG-OL has sections that are inspired by the likes of HGTV, but with a scope that is more pertinent to Florida residents. Examples of articles include dealing with water intrusion from the hurricanes or the trapping of a 9-foot alligator. Each article is presented with sometimes light hearted, but always accurate text and offers colorful digital images plus pertinent off-site links for more information.
