- Overall, trees should be pruned every two years. - Bradford Pears are abundant in Atlanta and create problems for homeowners year round. They must be thinned out to get some of the weight out of the tree, which will prevent splitting.
- Pruned trees give your landscape and property a cleaner and neater look. Cutting lower limbs and/or thinning the interior of a tree allow sunlight to penetrate through its branches and helps grass under the tree grow.
