Residential corn stoves are a cheaper and cleaner alternative to heating with natural gas, oil and propane and are easy to install and use. It is not necessary to keep an eye on the stove, poke it or constantly add fuel to it. Corn heat exhaust is environmentally safe, CO2 neutral, and non-toxic. No additional carbon by-products are released during combustion into the home or into the atmosphere, which helps eliminate the buildup of greenhouse gases. If corn is spilled, it does not contaminate the soil or groundwater and would not require remediation. Additionally, corn stoves do not require special permits.
