Fire Designs has sculpted and shaped a totally new way to experience fire with the creation of the Luminarium Outdoor Hearth. As elegant as its name, the Luminarium Outdoor Hearth uses a new fuel that provides all the sights and sounds of a traditional fire without the smoke, ash, or flying embers.

Constructed of copper, stainless steel and aluminum, the Luminarium hearth is a full-view, glass-enclosed appliance, artfully designed to compliment fine patio furniture and adds ambiance to any balcony, deck, porch or patio. Its transitional look features arch-topped sides capped by a multi-tiered, low profile roof reminiscent of a Frank Lloyd Wright design.

The Luminarium hearth is easy to fuel, light and extinguish. Simply pour Hearth Fuel into the fuel chamber drawer underneath the appliance, close the drawer and light. When fully ignited, flames dance and crackle randomly around glowing fiber-ceramic logs. The fire is easily controlled by the damper system. A single knob allows you to adjust the flame height from slow, lazy flames to a tall, dancing fire. The fuel chamber holds up to 64 ounces of Hearth Fuel and will provide 2 to 3 hours of burn time, depending upon the intensity of your fire. The fire can be lit or extinguished in seconds with very little cleanup required. You're in complete control.

Sturdy and freestanding, yet lightweight and portable, the Luminarium hearth measures 22-1/2 inches square and is 30 inches tall. It weighs 43 pounds. No tools are required for assembly and it is easily disassembled for storage and transport. Because of the Luminariums portability, it can be enjoyed in a variety of outdoor locations. Only your imagination will limit the outdoor places and occasions you can enjoy it.

A variety of safety features have been added to enhance your enjoyment. They include a drawer release preventing children from accidentally opening the fuel chamber when not in use, the fuel chamber drawer is locked when the damper system is in the ON position to prevent the opening of the drawer while burning, a heat shield designed to draw cool air through the roof, preventing it from getting too hot, 5/32 inch tempered glass and adjustable leg levelers to keep the unit level on uneven surfaces. Because of its unique design, it can safely be enjoyed on wooden decks, porches and balconies. The absence of blowing smoke or embers makes it ideal to use in your screened-in porch.

The appliance has a powder-coated finish, which provides greater durability for outdoor settings. We also offer the Luminarium in contemporary Stainless Steel and luxurious Copper.

Six Easy Steps to An Elegant Fire

Step 1: Place hearth floor and fiber-ceramic logs onto the hearth frame.

Step 2: Drop in the extruded aluminum support posts at each corner.

Step 3: Slide glass and decorative grills into post slots on all sides.

Step 4: Snap roof onto the four posts.

Step 5: Slide open fuel chamber and fill with hearth fuel.

Step 6: Close chamber, open damper, light, sit back and enjoy!
