The
Ryan Garden Trellis with its pyramid top is shown from left
to right with the natural copper color, with a green patina and at home

The Betty Trellis with an arched top
of braided copper has horizontal cross-members of sealed redwood. It would
make a wonderful, unique trellis in any garden setting.

The
Ling Ladder Trellis is great for trellising existing vines
with its removable horizontal cross members. The cross members are alternately
patinaed green and black. Stock sizes available:

The Ling II Ladder Trellis works just like the Ling but has
a pyramid top. It makes a lovely addition to the garden in any season.

The
Summer Trellis will brighten any area of your garden, any season
of the year. This one is plumbed to shoot a stream of water from its mouth
into a pool or pond. If you want your Summer Trellis to do the same, there
is a small extra charge (click on "More Info" below for charge).

The
Susan Trellis comes with one large and two small curious dragonflies
peering down from its braided arch. If you want any dragonfly or praying
mantis mounted on any trellis go to the Accessories page and add that
to your order. Please note in the comments section that you want it mounted
on your trellis (we'll do this at no extra charge!). Like the above Summer
Trellis please click on "More Info" below for information on
the small additional charge to plumb it so the dragonfly can shoot a stream
of water into your pond or pool.

The Travis Tripod has three
copper legs encircled with copper tubing which all comes to a point under
a three-inch sealed wood ball. The Travis looks lovely in groupings of
three or more. String some lights on them for the holidays (or year round
for that matter), then just relax and admire!

The Botanic Tripod was
originally created to be on permanent display in the Denver Botanic Gardens
in the company of three other Botanic tripods. It has three copper legs
encircled with copper tubing which all comes to a point under a eight-inch
gazing ball. Call or e-mail for pricing on a copper
sphere atop this tripod. What a lovely statement it makes!
8-foot tall x 30-inch diameter
The Quebec Tuteur is a freestanding,
pyramid-shaped trellis for placing anywhere in the garden that you want
a vertical accent with classical style and proportions. It combines copper
tube with copper sheet and flat bar. Exquisite!
4.5'H x 10" W x 10"D
The Butterfly Tuteur gracefully spirals up to a friendly butterfly finial. A lovely addition to any garden!

The Boulder Trellis' simple
yet classical design is a perfect match for contemporary or traditional
home styles. An overlay design is used on this trellis.
6-foot tall x 24-inch wide
The Denver Trellis is perfect
for the gardener who wants durability and style on a budget. An overlay
design is used on this trellis.

The Dahlia Garden Trellis has
a pyramid within a pyramid top. The interior vertical members are weaved
through the horizontal members to give the trellis an extra touch of texture.
See above for the Dahlia Arbor. The Dahlia was the starting point for
this custom trellis shown below. The client wanted the grid of the trellis
to mirror the frames of the multi-pained window that it covers. Please
remember that our designs can just be the beginning and we will gladly
modify them to get the exact design you desire.

We collaborated
with a client in Virginia to create the beautiful Filmore Box Trellis
which now takes center stage in his garden. Shown at left with optional
weathervane mount for our full-size or cottage weathervanes. See Weathervanes
and More for weathervane options.
It measures 16"W x 12"D x 78" H
Shown at left is the Rooster full-sized weathervane #501. Weathervanes must be selected at time of order for Filmore Box Trellis. The cost of the weathervanes is not included in trellis price.
This custom two-piece
trellis was designed to be a backdrop to this koi pond. It has a braided
copper arch top connected to the vertical members. The dragonflies and
praying mantis attached to the trellis act as a fountain, spraying a whimsical
stream of water into the pond. E-mail

This
Botanic Trellis shown at left was specially designed for the Denver
Botanic Gardens. It combines horizontal redwood members with copper interlocked
circles and a four strand braided copper arch. Let us custom design and
fabricate a trellis or arbor to fit your landscaping plans!

When we say we do custom work, we really mean it! We worked with a client in West Virginia to design this 8-foot wide by 18-foot tall trellis. We fabricated it in easy-to-assemble sections for greater ease in shipping. |

This trellis was designed
to custom-fit the niche besides a fireplace chimney and an exterior wall.
It stands eight feet tall, and measures 14 inches wide on the taller side
and eight inches wide on the shorter side. A patina was requested by the
client for an instant verdigris finish. We worked within the client's budget
using a technique which is less labor intensive than what we normally do.
This method of construction differs by using rigid tube which is laid upon
the uprights and soldered instead of the custom drilling and fitting we
typically use on our products. This results in a trellis that has a different
look and feel than our other designs, but is still quite beautiful. If you

Please note that we never use plumbing fittings to join our pieces unless you specifically request them. We believe they look good in a plumbing system, but not on display in or around your home. Below, on the left, is an example of our construction methods building a Ryan Trellis (with optional green patina). On the right is a Ryan Trellis made with plumbing fittings. We believe our system of custom angle cuts or bends for the corners, and drilling and fitting of the cross members is closer to the clean lines of fine furniture than the "below the kitchen sink" look of the technique at right. While both are sturdy and long lasting, we believe that G.I. Designs' construction methods has the definite edge in creating a work of art. The Difference is in the Details! You be the judge.
